A minimalist theatre seat with a side which evokes the form of a tuning fork and the letter Y in its name.
Its unusual feature is the limited volume.
The elegance and compactness of the tip-up seat become even clearer when it is closed, as it fits
perfectly into the side without jutting out, maintaining the purity of the shape.
The clean-cut shape is accompanied by finishes which allow an infinite number of combinations of precious woods and comfortable coverings.

The leaf is such a re ned material that people who approach it for the first time often think that it is something false, something that appears to be gold or silver but that isn’t really. That is not the case. The leaf consists of gold or silver particles, that are compressed to produce very thin sheets. Handling it and using it, is a complex task meaning that only the hands of experienced artists are capable of applying it effectively without causing it to oxidise, without spoiling it or creating unnatural ripples.
Applying it is a very complex matter, requiring a smooth surface with no impurities, no ripples and no dust. You have to use a special glue to make it grip the surface and lastly, the hands of our artists are play their part, taking the sheets one-by-one and applying them with delicacy and care over even the slightest surface. Finally, a few coats of protective varnish are applied that are required to secure the leaf and make sure it does not change over time, remaining protected against scratches and bumps.
